办公室白领一般可分为两类,一类是“吃完午饭必须要午睡星人”,另一类是“即使不睡午觉,下午依然神采奕奕星人”。睡午觉,一直以来都被认为是养生的好方式,能舒缓压力、养精蓄锐,但至于为什么,却一直缺乏科学的理论支撑。

最近,发表在《Nature Communications》上的一项动物研究显示,睡午觉或有助于打扫“大脑垃圾”,维护人体的健康。

午睡或有助清除“大脑垃圾”

研究表示,人体通过睡眠有助于清除大脑中有害的代谢物,如淀粉样β蛋白,并且还可以巩固记忆。睡眠期间,会有更多的脑脊液进入淋巴系统,促进废物的清除。但是,科学家尚不清楚脑脊液向淋巴液的运动是否会受到昼夜节律的控制。

于是,研究者做了一项实验,他们分别在中午、午夜时刻,在麻醉的小鼠脑脊液池中注射了荧光示踪剂,并让其循环半小时分钟,通过头骨成像技术发现,白天流入大脑的脑脊液示踪剂与夜间相比增加了约53%,示踪剂向大脑中的流入显示出昼夜变化,而且在中午出现了峰值。

研究者还测试了清醒的小鼠脑脊液流入是否也会有这种昼夜变化,但结果发现并没有显着差异。

值得强调的是,研究者还发现脑脊液的排出同样显示出昼夜变化,不过脑脊液排出峰值与脑脊液进入大脑淋巴系统的时间相反。

午睡越睡越累咋回事?

经历一早上的繁忙与能量消耗,中午睡午觉有助于补偿脑力与体力的消耗,非常具有养生功效。不过,身边不少人表示,睡午觉后总觉得全身好累,像被人殴打了一顿,这又怎么回事呢?

这可能是你睡太久或者睡觉姿势不对引起的。

一般来说,午睡时间控制在1小时以内足矣。睡眠分浅睡眠、深睡眠两种,入睡80分钟后,睡眠会由浅入深,大脑血流量减少,若在深睡眠中醒来,就容易造成大脑供血不足,导致植物神经系统功能暂时紊乱,让人感到头晕、脑胀、迷糊等不适。

另外,很多白领吃饱饭后喜欢趴在办公桌上睡觉,其实这种睡眠方式有害健康。吃饱饭后,大量血液流入肠胃系统,趴着睡不利于血液循环,容易让大脑更加缺血缺氧,而且趴着睡会压迫胸部,增加心肺负担,不利于食物消化。一般建议吃饱饭后稍微散散步消化下再以平躺、侧卧的姿势睡觉。

从生理学角度来说,人体脑细胞的兴奋时间通常能持续4-5小时,适当午觉可以消除疲劳、恢复体力,而且还有助于促进大脑代谢物的清除,何乐而不为呢?
