Stroke:含糖和人工甜味饮料与卒中和痴呆的风险关系如何?

由此可见,人工甜味软饮料消耗量与卒中和痴呆的风险增加有关。

已有研究证实含糖和人工甜味剂饮料的摄入量与心脏代谢风险因素有关,从而增加脑血管疾病和痴呆的风险。近日,卒中领域权威杂志Stroke上发表了一篇研究文章,在社区为基础的Framingham心脏研究后代队列中,研究人员评估了含糖或人工甜味饮料消耗量是否与卒中或痴呆发生的前瞻性风险相关。

研究人员分析了2888名年龄超过45岁的卒中患者(平均年龄为62岁[SD为9岁],男性占45%),并且1484名年龄大于60岁的参与者发生痴呆(平均年龄为69岁,SD为6岁,男性占46%)。分别在队列第5次(1991-1995年),第6次(1995-1998年)和第7次(1998-2001年)检查时,研究人员使用食物频率问卷对饮料摄入量进行量化。研究在第7次检查时对最近的消耗量和累积消耗量进行量化,通过对几次检测结果进行平均。在第7次检查时对事件发生进行监测,并持续了10年。研究人员观察到97例参与者发生脑卒中(82例为缺血性脑卒中)和81例参与者发现痴呆(63例患者与阿尔茨海默病一致)。

对年龄、性别、教育(分析老年痴呆症)、热量摄入、饮食质量、体力活动和吸烟进行调整后,较高的最近和累积摄入人工甜味软饮料与缺血性脑卒中、全因痴呆和阿尔茨海默病性痴呆发生风险增加相关。当比较每日累积摄入量为0每周(对照)的参与者,发生缺血性卒中和阿尔茨海默氏病的风险比分别为2.96(95%可信区间为1.26-6.97)和2.89(95%可信区间为1.18-7.07)。而含糖饮料与卒中或痴呆无关。

由此可见,人工甜味软饮料消耗量与卒中和痴呆的风险增加有关。
