牙膏具有复杂的配方,其成分不同的化学和物理因素将影响其抗侵蚀牙齿磨损(ETW)的效果。
为此,来自伯尼尔大学的研究人员调查了不同的脱敏和/或抗腐蚀性牙膏对初始釉质侵蚀和磨损的影响,并分析了它们的化学和物理因素之间的相互作用是如何影响ETW的。
研究人员使用9种不同的牙膏和人造唾液对人釉质样本进行5次侵蚀-磨损循环,并计算釉质表面损失(SL)。然后,研究人员分析了牙膏的化学和物理因素(pH值; 是否含有锡; 钙,磷酸盐和氟化物浓度; 固体颗粒的重量百分比; 润湿性和粒度),并与多变量模型中SL的量相关联。
研究人员观察到,所有脱敏和/或抗腐蚀性牙膏处理的样本都呈现不同程度的SL。在pH和氟化物外,所有其他化学和物理因素也都与SL有关。
该实验的结果表明,牙釉质SL的发生与牙膏是否具有脱敏或抗腐蚀性无关,并且较低的SL与锡的存在,较高的钙和磷酸盐浓度,较高的固体颗粒重量百分比,较小的粒度和较低的润湿性相关。
