Sci Rep:应用机械生物学算法研究经股动脉截肢患者异位骨的机械调节

异位骨化(HO)是通常不是骨质的组织中骨形成的过程。大约60%的爆炸事故导致截肢的患者会发生HO这种情况。HO可以导致运动范围缩小、疼痛,神经刺激,并可以影响假肢使用,其原因是由机械、生物、局部和系统因素等引起。 与正常骨形成和重塑一样,预期异位骨响应机械刺激,并且理解这种关系可以提供对病理学的洞察。本研究旨在调查考虑机械和生物因素的生理2D计算模型是否可用于模拟经股动脉截肢的残肢中的HO。

通过改变股骨上的加载方向产生明显的效果;这可能与不同的初始手术干预有关,例如肌肉肌肉痉挛。此外,发现诸如通过敷料的负压的初始治疗改变了异位骨的形状。
