这篇研究的目的是为了识别人牙髓细胞(hDPCs)中的钙感受受体(CaSR)以及其在MTA诱导hDPCs成牙本质分化和矿化中的作用。研究通过免疫组化和免疫荧光检测CaSR在人牙髓组织和hDPCs的表达。随后，hDPCs培养于含特定浓度MTA稀释液或混合了钙受体激动剂R-568 (a positive allosteric modulator of CaSR [Tocris Bioscience， Bristol， UK])的培养基内，通过CCK-8 (Dojindo Molecular Technologies， Kumamoto， Japan)检测细胞活性。通过碱性磷酸酶活性、茜素红S染色、实时定量PCR和western blot检测添加不同MTA稀释液， R-568和calcilytic Calhex 231 (a negative allosteric modulator of CaSR [Sigma-Aldrich， St Louis， MO])培养基内成牙本质分化相关基因/蛋白和CaSR的表达。结果显示，CaSR轻微表达于中央部分的牙髓组织中，而强表达于成牙本质细胞层以及hDP
