本研究共纳入了12087例受试者进行3.0T 多参数MRI颅脑成像(如3D T1、DTI)。利用人力阻抗评价体脂率(TBF)。容积指标包括脑体积、灰质体积、白质体积和深部灰质体积和局部皮层体积。利用部分各向异性(FA)、平均扩散率(MD)评价整体和纤维特异性微结构。利用线性回归分析评价TBF与MRI参数的相关性。

结果为,平均体质指数约为26.6 kg/m2 ± 4.4,男、女平均TBF分别为24.4% ± 5.5、35.5% ± 6.5。男性TBF与皮层下灰质核团(除了杏仁核)体积具有负相关;女性TBF仅与苍白球体积具有负相关。男女TBF与整体FA具有正相关(男与女TBF每SD FA变化分别为0.05 vs 0.07)。女性TBF与整体MD具有负相关。

本研究表明,肥胖与灰质核团体积具有相关性。此外,肥胖对白质微细结构的形态影响不同。
