乳腺癌和前列腺癌在家族中常常共同发生，有前列腺癌家族史的女性患乳腺癌的风险增加。前列腺癌是最有遗传可能的癌症之一，但很少有文章研究其与家族性乳腺癌的关系。CLIN CANCER RES近期发表了一篇文章，研究一级亲属中患有家族性乳腺癌或前列腺癌增加前列腺癌风险的程度。

乳腺癌和前列腺癌在家族中常常共同发生，有前列腺癌家族史的女性患乳腺癌的风险增加。前列腺癌是最有遗传可能的癌症之一，但很少有文章研究其与家族性乳腺癌的关系。CLIN CANCER RES近期发表了一篇文章，研究一级亲属中患有家族性乳腺癌或前列腺癌增加前列腺癌风险的程度。

作者对37，002名美国男性进行了前瞻性研究。随访至2012年，共16年随访时间，期间共诊断出4，208例和344致死病例。作者评估了家族性乳腺癌或前列腺癌与发病总数和致死性前列腺癌之间关联。研究结果表明，有家族性乳腺癌的患者总体前列腺癌风险增加21％，致死性疾病风险增加34％。单纯的前列腺癌家族史与总疾病风险增加68％和致死性疾病风险增加72％相关。同时有这两种癌症家族史的男性患病风险也很高。

文章最后认为，有乳腺癌或前列腺癌家族史的男性患前列腺癌风险升高，包括致命疾病风险。这些发现可以为男性癌症风险预测提供更多信息。
