BMJ:UK Biobank 研究模式对结论的影响

研究认为,虽然UK Biobank研究参与者应答率低,但研究结果与传统队列研究基本一致

近日研究人员将UK Biobank研究与其他代表性研究相比较,考察了不同研究模式对心血管风险因素及死亡率的结论差异。

研究人员分析了499701例UK Biobank队列参与者(参与者应答率为5.5%),以HSE和SHS数据库中的18个研究为对照(包含89895名参与者,平均应答率为68%)。研究的主要终点为心血管疾病、肿瘤以及自杀死亡。

相比于传统队列研究,UK Biobank研究模式覆盖范围广,但参与者研究应答率低,二者风险因素与死亡率的相关性保持一致。7年UK Biobank研究中,总计记录14288例患者死亡,而HSE-SHS研究10年记录7861例患者死亡,在调整年龄及性别后,UK Biobank研究发现吸烟史人群的心血管死亡风险为2.04,而HSE-SHS队列为1.99,二者研究结论基本一致。

研究认为,虽然UK Biobank研究参与者应答率低,但研究结果与传统队列研究基本一致。
