使用BRAVO无线pH监测，评估食管抗反流术对巴雷特食管（BE）的长期疗效。

BE是与慢性胃食管反流和食管癌相关的疾病。因为客观上的原因，迄今为止，研究并没有表明，抗反流手术可以预防胃食管反流、延缓BE进展。

对2家医院自1991年以来的接受抗反流手术的患者进行了研究，纳入BE患者、抗反流手术后至少随访5年。所有患者完成了临床结果问卷，并对BE进行了内镜评估和组织学评价。使用使用无线BRAVO系统进行48小时的pH监测。

总共有50例患者（40名男性，10名女性）被纳入研究，平均随访11.9年。大约，92%（46 / 50）的患者报告了他们的手术结果为“优秀”或“好”，86%（43 / 50）的患者报告手术结果“无效”或“轻度”症状。41% (20/49)的患者有组织学复原。没有病理上复原的患者，更低的食管酸暴露（pH < 4的百分比时间）更显著(P = 0.008)。此外，64%（32 / 50）的患者内镜下BE长度减少，这些患者的酸性暴露也显着减少（pH < 4的百分比时间, 0.2 vs 3.6, P = 0.007）。

抗反流手术对巴雷特食管患者是安全有效的。BRAVO无线pH监测系统反馈的数据显示，抗反流手术可能阻止巴雷特食管进展，这可能降低癌症发展的风险。
