为了阐明维持健康体重的机体行为,近日,在洛杉矶举办的2015肥胖周上,来自康奈尔大学食品及标示实验室的研究人员开发了一种在线的全球健康体重“注册表”,健康体重的成年人会被邀请进行登记注册,随后研究者向其询问一些关于饮食、锻炼及日常活动等信息。

研究者对登记注册的147名成年个体的信息进行分析,发现了这些健康成年个体维持健康和身材的一些常规的行为;其中96%的个体有吃早餐的习惯,42%的个体每周至少锻炼5次;50%的个体至少每周称体重。尽管74%的个体从不或很少节食,但92%的个体能够清楚地知道哪些东西可以吃,哪些不应该吃。作为控制机体体重的部分习惯,有44%的个体至少都会采用一种限制性的策略,比如倾听内心的想法、在家做饭、摄入高质量但非加工的食物。

进行这些分析给我们带来的最大触动是什么呢?研究者Brian Wansink博士就表示,很多苗条人士都不会限制饮食或者有强烈的健康制度来维持健康的体重,相反这些个体会经常练习一些简单的习惯,而并不是不吃早饭。如果我们在同体重作斗争的话,在日常生活中尝试着一些简单的实践方法,这样我们或许可以更加轻松地保持健康的体重和身材。
