这篇研究的目的是为了评估血糖正常(N)和糖尿病大鼠罹患根尖周炎(AP)时T辅助(Th)细胞的炎症特征。研究将20只Wistar大鼠随机分为2组：N大鼠和糖尿病大鼠(DM)。DM通过链脲霉素诱导形成，AP通过暴露下颌第一磨牙髓腔至口腔环境中诱导而来。30天后，提取下颌骨并进行组织学检测、细菌化验以及免疫化学分析白细胞介素(IL)-6，肿瘤坏死因子a， IL-17， IL-23，干扰素r和IL-10。采用Mann-Whitney U和Student t检验进行统计学分析(P < .05)。结果显示，DM组的炎症浸润程度比N组更加强烈，并且骨吸收范围更大以及细菌更多(P < .05)。DM组的促炎症因子水平比N组更高(P < .05)。然而，N组干扰素r水平要明显高于DM组(P < .05)。结论：DM组AP的炎症特征与N组差异明显，表明在DM中Th1是二级应变而Th17是起主导作用的一级应变。原始出处：Samuel RO， Ervolino E， et al.
