在代谢性疾病中,感染和生态失调存在密切联系,而根尖周炎(AP)对其中的影响还不清楚。这篇研究的目的是为了评估AP对10%果糖诱导的代谢综合征大鼠模型的影响。研究使用雄性Wistar大鼠。实验动物接受高果糖 (HFD, n = 30)或过滤水(control, n = 30) 饮食,并再分为以下各组:(1)未进行AP诱导(no AP, n = 10 each);(2)安乐死前AP诱导2周(AP 14 days, n = 10 each);(3)安乐死前AP诱导4周。结果显示,在没有AP诱导情况下,HFD造成实验大鼠代谢综合征的发生,症状除了多饮还表现为超重和高血脂症。在不考虑实验组的情况下,血清和肠道内未检测到TNF、IL-1和IL-6。在未AP诱导的HFD组中,血清瘦素和脂连素水平明显升高。在AP诱导28天的HFD组中,肠道瘦素水平明显升高。AP诱导14天的HDF组中,肝脏谷胱甘肽水平明显上调。AP诱导(14 or 28 days)导致牙髓和根尖组织炎症,但并未影响HFD。HFD或AP诱导均会导致生态失调,表现为粪便中艾克曼菌的显著减少。结论:全新的证据显示,AP可能是通过调节肠道内新
