当牙根使用硅酸钙类封闭剂(bioceramic sealer [BCS])和一种改良的牙胶尖(bioceramic cone [BCC])充填后可以改善牙根的抗折断强度。这篇研究的目的是为了通过检测抗折断强度、推出粘合强度、封闭剂渗透性和弹性模量(MOE)评估一种生物陶瓷类锥核/封闭剂(TotalFill; FKG Dentaire SA, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland)的牙根强化程度,并与牙胶尖/ AH Plus (Dentsply Maillefer, Tulsa, OK) (GP/AH)相比较。

研究对84颗双侧下颌前磨牙进行了预备。对于抗折断试验,使用40颗牙齿随机分为4组(n = 10 each):完整牙根(阴性对照)、预备牙根(阳性对照)以及使用BCC/BCS或GP/AH充填的牙根。根管使用相匹配的单牙胶技术进行充填并通过尖端带有读数器样的设备垂直向施加负荷直至折断。对于推出粘接强度的试验(n = 10 each),对BCC/BCS和GP/AH根管冠端、中间和尖端的切片通过圆柱形柱塞施加负荷,随后测定其失效模式。通过激光共聚焦扫描显微镜检测BCC/BCS和GP/AH (n = 12 each)在冠端、中间和根尖水平上渗透的深度、周缘和整个的面积,以评估封闭剂的渗透性。依据ISO 4049:2000标准评估其MOE。

结果显示,BCC/BCS, GP/AH和完整牙根之间的折断负荷没有明显差异,但却显著高于预备未充填的牙根。与GP/AH相比,BCC/BCS在根尖水平拥有更高的粘接强度、渗透的最大深度和周缘,并且封闭剂在所有水平上的渗透区域都更高。所有材料的MOE均明显低于牙本质。

结论:BCC/BCS和GP/AH可以粘接并强化已预备的根管;它们的抗折断强度与完整牙根相似。
