      酒精性肝硬化的风险取决于遗传和环境因素。本项研究的目的是调查气候是否会对酒精消耗及其对酒精性肝硬化的影响产生影响。
 
      研究人员从193个国家以及美国的50个州和3，144个县收集了大量数据。数据来源包括世界卫生组织，世界气象组织和卫生计量与评估研究所。气候参数包括Koppen-Geiger分类，年平均日照时数和年平均温度。获得了酒精消耗数据，饮酒模式，健康指标和肝硬化的酒精归因分数（AAF）。全球队列揭示了平均年平均温度与年平均日照时数之间呈负相关关系（Spearman's分别为-0.5和-0.57）。此外，人群中重度偶发饮酒和总饮酒者的百分比与温度呈呈负相关（Spearman's分别为-0.45和-0.49）（P <0.001）和日照时数也呈负相关关系（Spearman's分别为-0.39和-0.57）（P <0.001）。重要的是，AAF与温度（-0.45）（P <0.001）和日照时数（-0.6）（P <0.001）呈负相关。在美国，较冷的气候与重度和暴饮暴食者的患病率呈正相关。

       结论：较冷的气候可能会对饮酒引起的AAF起到积极推动作用。
