青少年时期,体育活动减少久坐行为增加导致抑郁风险增加

识别可变风险因素是减少青少年抑郁的关键。自我报告数据表明,体力活动和久坐行为可能与青少年的抑郁症状有关。近日研究人员就青少年抑郁症状与客观体力活动和久坐行为之间的关系进行了考察。

ALSPAC研究中,参与者在12、14以及16岁接受久坐行为和体力活动(轻度、中度以及剧烈)评估,总体力活动记录为每分钟计数(CPM)。在参与者18岁时进行CIS-R抑郁评分。

4257名青少年参与研究,其中2486人在12岁进行久坐-运动评分,1938人在14岁参与评分,1220人在16岁参与评分。随访6年,体育活动评分在12-16岁间下降(12岁时平均CPM为325.66 min/d,16岁时为244.94 min/d),而久坐行为增加(12岁时为430.99 min/d,16岁时为523.02 min/d)。18岁时,较高的抑郁评分与12岁时久坐行为增加60 min/d以上相关(IRR=1.11),14和16岁时的相关性为1.08和1.107。18岁时,较低的抑郁评分与12岁时轻度运动行为增加60 min/d以上相关(IRR=0.904),14和16岁时的相关性为0.922和0.889。相比于一贯低久坐行为人群,持续高(1.282)或中等(1.249)久坐人群的抑郁得分较高;而相比于持续低轻度运动人群,持续参与轻度运动人群的抑郁得分较低(0.804)。积极参与中度-剧烈体育活动与较低的抑郁得分相关。

研究发现,青少年时期,体育活动减少久坐行为增加导致抑郁风险增加。
