目前，有三种商业化的体外诊断基质辅助激光解吸/电离飞行时间质谱(MALDI‐TOF MS)系统广泛应用于临床实验室。ASTA MicroIDSys系统(ASTA Inc，韩国)是一种新开发的用于病原微生物鉴定的MALDI‐TOF MS系统。在本研究中，我们评估了ASTA MALDI‐TOF MS系统从临床样本中鉴定致病酵母的性能。

我们使用ASTA MALDI‐TOF MS从不同的临床标本中分离出284株临床酵母，并将结果与使用rDNA ITS或D1‐D2区域的分子测序和生化分析的结果进行了比较。

本研究共检测到284株菌株，分布于14个菌种，包括白色念珠菌(n = 100)和其他酵母菌(n = 184)。ASTA MALDI‐TOF MS与分子测序相比，正确鉴定了95.1%(270/284)的酵母品种。其中，262株分离株MALDI‐TOF MS评分(≥140)合格，98.1%(257/262)分离株鉴定正确。此外，在MALDI‐TOF MS评分<140的22个分离株中，59.1%(13/22)的分离株在物种水平上与分子分型一致。聚类分析表明，新的MALDI‐TOF MS系统对酵母品种的鉴定是有效的。

研究表明，ASTA MALDI‐TOF MS在酵母种类鉴定中具有较高的准确性；它包括简单的样品制备和提取程序。ASTA MALDI‐TOF MS由于其可靠性和成本效益，有望在临床微生物实验室中用于酵母鉴定。
