SCIENCE:口渴通过调节全脑神经群体来控制你的行为

生理需求产生动机驱动,如口渴和饥饿,调节生存所必需的行为。已有的研究显示,下丘脑神经元感知这些需求,并且必须协调相关的全脑神经元活动,以产生适当的行为。

生理需求产生动机驱动,如口渴和饥饿,调节生存所必需的行为。已有的研究显示,下丘脑神经元感知这些需求,并且必须协调相关的全脑神经元活动,以产生适当的行为。

最近,研究人员探究了34个大脑区域~24,000个神经元的动力学,这些动物来自于口渴动机的选择行为,因为老鼠消耗了水并且变得满足。 

水预测感官线索引起的活动迅速蔓延到口渴动物的大脑。这些动态是通过编码动机状态的全脑模式的神经活动来控制的。在饱食后,下丘脑口渴感知神经元的焦点光遗传激活,使全脑活动恢复到饱食状态。

因此,动机状态指定初始条件,确定全脑动力系统如何将感觉输入转换为行为输出。
