TRPA1是一种温敏离子通道，它可以被多种环境中的刺激物和损伤或炎症释放的分子通过变构机制激活。TRPA1离子通道因此在媒介急性和慢性疼痛方面有重要作用。捷克科学院生理研究所(Institute of Physiology Czech Academy of Sciences) 的研究人员通过冷冻电镜技术对TRPA1离子通道的结构进行了研究。他们发现TRPA1通道S1-S4传感域 (sensor domain) 的细胞内部分对门控离子通道的变构机制非常重要。这一区域中保守的氨基酸对决定TRPA1通道的亲电性，对电压和钙离子的敏感性起到关键作用。这一区域同时可以与细胞膜中的磷酸肌醇结合，从而调节通道的门控特性。这项研究意味着这一区域出现的变动可能是慢性疼痛或瘙痒患者的内在原因。

碘引起疼痛及过敏研究获新进展

近日，中国科学院昆明动物研究所离子通道药物研发中心研究发现，TRPA1离子通道介导碘引起疼痛及过敏副作用。该研究成果在线发表在国际期刊EMBO Reports上。 据介绍，1811年碘元素被发现后不久，由于它的高效和低廉，被广泛外用做杀菌剂。碘比其他的外用杀菌剂具有更强的抗菌活性。碘是唯一能够同时杀死革兰氏阳性菌、革兰氏阴性菌、孢子、阿米巴虫、病毒、原生生物等的外用杀菌剂。 更重要
