医学人工智能课程率先上海集中开课 讲述全新AI创新成果与动态

随着人工智能技术的发展,AI技术在医学领域的应用已成为趋势,在医学影像识别、电子病历、药物研发、组学数据分析等诸多领域发挥着重要作用。

复旦大学8日披露,复旦大学基础医学院与华为合作开发的“医学人工智能与机器学习”课程集中授课。该课程为系统性医学人工智能课程。此类课程此前未有报道。

据介绍,该课程对于帮助学生迅速了解学术界与产业界的最新AI创新成果与动态、探索人工智能在医学领域的应用具有重大意义。课程吸引了来自该校医学院与附属医院的120多名本科生和研究生参与。

此次复旦大学开设的“医学人工智能与机器学习”课程为暑期FIST课程,包括44学时理论授课和16学时的操作课程,内容涵盖了人工智能在医学影像学数据、组学数据、电子病历数据三大生物医学场景中的运用。参与授课的专家学者包括复旦大学基础医学院教授刘赟、华为AI首席架构师张志峰及其团队、美国Emory大学教授吴浩、中科院马普计算所教授韩敬东、中山大学教授谢志等。

据悉,这一创新课程是复旦大学与华为校企合作的结晶。基础医学院刘赟教授与华为团队投入大量精力,从设计课程、编制讲义手册到设计实验,注重将理论与实践相结合,加强学生对医学人工智能与机器学习理论的理解,帮助学生掌握医学人工智能的应用场景及实现方法,助力学生将所学方法运用于解决医学实际问题。

近年来,华为在人工智能领域进行了大量的投资与创新,尤其在医学人工智能领域,着力解决医疗领域的全球重大技术难题,在宫颈癌筛查、超声测量、脑中风分割、肺结节检测等多个领域都达到了全球领先水平。据了解,目前,在医学AI芯片和医学诊断和病理筛查算法方面,华为不断创新AI算法,使算法在精度和速度上均达到了医学AI界的全球领先水平。

复旦大学基础医学院方面表示,此番与华为合作开发的“医学人工智能与机器学习”将最前沿的技术成果引入课程教学中,不仅能够帮助学生迅速了解学术界、产业界的最新成果,业内动态,更培养学生运用人工智能技术解决医学实际问题的实操能力,提升医学生的创新意识和开发能力。
