这项II期随机、双盲、平行组、安慰剂对照试验评估了三种剂量的ATI-501对87名AA患者头发再生的安全性、有效性和剂量反应。总头皮脱发率为30％至100％的受试者被随机分组，接受400mg、600mg、800mg的ATI-501或安慰剂治疗24周。
