我们招募了24名患有JIA的儿童，这些儿童参与了儿童关节炎（LEAP）研究中的连接运动、身体活动和病理生理学，参加为期6个月的家庭运动项目，包括每月跳跃和握把练习、阻力训练和一组运动课程。评估基线、6个月和12个月腰椎骨量（双能X线骨密度仪）、胫骨远端和桡骨骨微结构和强度（高分辨率外周定量计算机断层扫描）、肌肉功能（跳跃力学，测力学）和临床结果（联合评估，功能，与健康相关的生活质量）。使用每周活动日志评估遵守情况。

结果，13名儿童完成了为期6个月的干预。参与者报告9例不良事件，运动后疼痛罕见（0.4％）。疲劳得到改善，但肌肉、骨骼或临床结果没有其他持续改善。坚持锻炼计划的比例很低（47％）并随着时间的推移而减少。

综上所述，该研究患有JIA的儿童安全地参加了旨在增强肌肉和骨骼强度的家庭锻炼计划。疲劳得到改善，这可能反过来促进身体活动的参与。规定的练习构成了坚持挑战，需要努力解决参与和遵守JIA儿童锻炼计划的辅导员和障碍。
