结果显示,与钛植入物相邻的骨头中的平均钛含量为1.67 mg/kg-骨重。检测到的最高Ti含量为2.17 mg/kg-骨重。植入ZrO2植入物的骨骼中平均Zr含量为0.59 mg/kg-骨重。Zr的最高含量为0.75 mg/kg-骨重。 Ti和Zr在骨骼中的空间分布主要表现为靠近螺纹外尖端Ti和Zr的浓度更高。组织学分析表明,在两种植入物类型附近都存在骨髓纤维化的迹象。市售的ZrO2-纳米颗粒(NPs,<100 nm)和ZrO2-微粒(MPs,<5μm)的EC50分别为13.96 mg/ml和80.99 mg/ml。ZrO2-NP和ZrO2-MP在70μg/ml和810μg/ml的浓度下可诱导DNA损伤。

意义:种植体植入12周后,可以在小型猪上颌的Ti和ZrO2植入物附近的骨骼/组织中检测到Ti和Zr的浓度增加。从钛植入物中释放出的钛含量是从ZrO2植入物中释放出的Zr含量的两倍。与人类细胞中Ti-NPs报道的结果相比,ZrO2-NPs显示出较低的细胞毒性和DNA损伤。
