在本研究中，研究人员通过蛋白质印迹分析，发现Fn-AhpC重组蛋白可以被CRC患者血清中存在的抗体特异性识别； 使用Fn感染小鼠模型，研究人员观察到用AhpC/明矾进行的全身预防性免疫在77.3％的小鼠中具有显著的抗感染保护作用。

研究人员还测量了CRC患者血清中的抗AhpC抗体水平，发现早期CRC组的抗AhpC抗体没有明显增加。此外，我们用免疫小鼠和CRC患者的血清处理Fn，发现具有高抗AhpC抗体滴度的血清可以抑制Fn生长。


总之，该研究结果支持使用AhpC作为潜在的疫苗候选者，以防止肠道中Fn的感染或感染，这可以为预防与Fn感染相关的CRC提供实际的策略。
