近日,血管领域权威杂志Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology上发表了一篇研究文章,研究人员旨在评估血细胞膜中脂肪酸基线水平以及1年变化与高血管疾病风险的老年人冠心病(CHD)发病率之间的关系。

这是一项嵌套在PREDIMED试验的病例对照研究,共有136例CHD病例和272例对照者(年龄、性别、体重指数、干预组和研究中的持久时间进行匹配)。研究人员使用气相色谱法测量基线和1年后血细胞膜中22种脂肪酸的比例。使用条件Logistic回归来估计比值比(OR)和95%CI。

调整经典冠心病危险因素和多次检测后,C22:0、C24:0和单个极长链饱和脂肪酸总和每增加1个SD分别与发生CHD的可能性降低56%(OR为0.44 [95%CI为0.28-0.69]、59%(OR为0.41 [95%CI为0.25-0.65])和55%(OR为0.45 [95%CI为0.29-0.70])相关。基线C20:1n9与较高的CHD发生几率相关(OR为1.58 [95%CI为1.25-2.00])。

由此可见,较高水平的C22:0和C24:0与较低的CHD发病率相关,而较高水平的C20:1n9与较高的DHD风险相关。这项研究为不同类型的循环饱和脂肪酸对心血管疾病影响存在潜在差异增添了越来越多的证据。
