Radiology：预测心血管事件：左室肥厚优于冠状动脉钙化评分

根据发表在《Radiology》杂志上的一项新研究，左心室质量升高，即左心室肥大，比冠状动脉钙化评分更能预测不良心血管事件。

研究使用了核磁共振（MRI），这是量化左心室质量的金标准。

多民族动脉粥样硬化研究（MESA）中，2000年至2002年间， 4988名受试者接受了基线心脏MRI检查，均接受了长达15年的随访。所有参与者在基线时的平均年龄是62岁，基线无心血管疾病

在15年的随访中，290例患者发生了严重冠心病事件，包括207例心肌梗死或心脏病发作，95例冠心病死亡。57例患者发生心血管疾病相关死亡，215例患者发生心力衰竭。

进一步分析表明，对于冠心病死亡、其他心血管死亡和心衰，左心室肥大是比冠状动脉钙化更强的预测因子。

根据分析，患有左心室肥大受试者中，有22%发生了不良心血管事件，没有左心室肥大的受试者中，仅有6%发生了不良心血管事件。

与无左室肥大的受试者相比，左室肥大患者的冠状动脉疾病相关死亡风险增加3.3倍。

Kaplan-Meier分析显示，左心室肥大5年后不良心血管事件风险开始增加。
