当前,对于临床应用马达驱动的镍钛(NiTi)器械的使用情况不是十分清楚。因此,这篇研究的目的是为了调查牙髓病科医师使用和再使用镍钛器械的情况。

当前,对于临床应用马达驱动的镍钛(NiTi)器械的使用情况不是十分清楚。因此,这篇研究的目的是为了调查牙髓病科医师使用和再使用镍钛器械的情况。

研究将一个含16道问题的调查问卷通过网络发给美国牙髓病学家协会的4000名活跃成员。数据在6个月内收集完毕并通过chi-square检验进行统计学分析。

结果显示,研究共收到957份调查结果(response rate = 23%)。其中,40.2%为私人诊所;这其中,近期毕业的医师(<10 years)要明显少于毕业10年以上的医师。此外,营业类型中诊所占41.7%,医院占4.3%,大学占10.7%,军队占3%。总体上,98.3%的受访者使用镍钛器械。受访者毕业不超过25年的医师使用镍钛器械的人数(99%)明显高于毕业超过25年的医师人数(92.6%)。尽管22.9%的受访者购买的是预先消毒的器械,但41.6%的医师在使用前要消毒,而35.5%的医师在使用前不会消毒全新的器械;口腔军医在所有病例中均使用全新消毒的器械。镍钛器械在受访者中的再使用率为74%。2个最大的专科医师牙髓器械厂商为Dentsply (York, PA; 56.9%)和EdgeEndo (Albuquerque, NM; 28.8%)。

结论:不同类型的口腔门诊以及医师毕业的年限在使用镍钛器械间存在显著性差异。这与10年前报道的结果存在显著的变化。
