2017 年美国高血压指南与2018年欧洲高血压指南 等主要高血压诊治文件都明确建议更广泛开展动态血压监测。2018 年中国高血压防治指南以及2019 年日本高血压指南同样非常重视诊室外血压的临床应用，建议在高血压诊断与治疗中更多依靠动态血压监测。
