在我国现阶段，肿瘤患者数目庞大，驱动基因诊断和检测应用需求巨大。但在实际应用中会因为检测技术的准入门槛低、缺乏临床公认的NGS指导规范，肿瘤诊治中可能存在检测质量低下、结果准确性差，检测结果解读不专业，甚至盲目追求基因检测结果的现象。因此，我国肿瘤学界履需对当前NGS在临床合理规范的使用进行充分讨论，形成共识子以发布，以指导我国临床肿瘤诊疗中的规范应用。
