片仔癀在临床中的应用非常广泛，尤其在传染性疾病方面具有较好疗效，先后被列入《中医药治疗埃博拉出血热专家指导意见（第一版）》、《登革热诊疗指南（2014第2版）》 等相关指南。为了总结片仔癀的基础和临床研究成果，指导和规范片仔癀的临床应用，中国医师协会中西医结合医师分会特邀来自全国相关领域的知名专家编写本建议。
