It helps those involved to maintain and improve food safety and quality and to assess and respond to changing trends in consumer requirements. The scope of Food Control is comprehensive and includes original research papers, short papers, notes and comments that report on new developments in all of the areas of food control listed below. Authoritative reviews are published together with patent reports, a calendar of forthcoming meetings, book reviews and reports on recent conferences. Food Control covers: good manufacturing practices quality assurance and control hazard analysis, HACCP and food safety objectives risk assessment including microbial risk assessment food process systems design and control environmental control and safety novel foods and processes codes of practice, legislation and international harmonization consumer issues sensor technology rapid methods of analysis and detection education, training and research needs Months of publication: February, April, June, August, October and December. Related Conference Food Safety Objectives: Public Health, HACCP and Science will take place on December 4-5, 2000 at Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA.
