本研究共纳入了3名健康志愿者,并在体行 129XeMRI检查。联合高产旋转交换泵129Xe偏振器、常规射频脉冲线圈和优化的梯度回波MRI序列来获得有足够信号灵敏度来进行人脑超极化129Xe成像。传统T1加权质子(氢质子1 [ 1H])图像和动脉自旋标记灌注图像作为对照组。

结果为,129Xe摄入图像的信噪比为31 ± 9,与传统T1加权图像和ASL灌注图像相比能够获得灰质相似的结构效果。

本研究表明,超极化129XeMRI是一种无须注射进行脑组织灌注成像的方法。该方法对通过完整血脑屏障血管外脑组织摄入的129Xe气体进行成像。
