有临床前研究报道联合阻断KIT及CTLA-4可以起到协同作用。CLIN CANCER RES近期发表了一篇文章，报道达沙替尼联合伊匹单抗治疗胃肠道间质瘤（GIST）以及其他肉瘤的临床试验结果。该临床试验采用标准的3+3设计评估该治疗方式的安全性、有效性以及治疗相关免疫反应。剂量递增队列接受伊匹单抗10或3mg/kg每3周，序贯每12周剂量递增的达沙替尼治疗（70mg每天，100mg每天，或70mg一天两次）。研究共纳入28例患者。病理分型包括胃肠道间质瘤（n=20）及其他肉瘤（n=8）。达沙替尼70mg/day联合伊匹单抗10mg/kg或达沙替尼140mg/day联合伊匹单抗3mg/kg可以安全地进行治疗。剂量限制毒性包括3级胃出血及贫血。通过RECIST及irRC并未观察到局部或完全反应。文章最后认为，达沙替尼和伊匹单抗用来治疗胃肠道间质瘤及肉瘤患者具有安全性。但是达沙替尼与伊匹单抗协同作用较差，两种药物联合所取得的临床效果有限。本研究提供的数据表明IDO抑制可能与GIST中抗肿瘤效果有关。由于样本量较小，尚需额外的数据来验证该研究得到的结论。在更为先进及有效的免疫检查点抑制中，应考
