复发胶质母细胞瘤治疗的新近进展

Ziopharm Oncology公司近日宣布开始进行II期临床试验，以评估基因疗法（IL-12受控表达系统）与PD-1抗体Libtayo联合用于成人复发性或进行性胶质母细胞瘤（rGBM）的有效性和安全性。多中心试验将在美国约10家专门治疗脑癌的医院进行。

Ziopharm Oncology公司近日宣布开始进行II期临床试验，以评估基因疗法（IL-12受控表达系统）与PD-1抗体Libtayo联合用于成人复发性或进行性胶质母细胞瘤（rGBM）的有效性和安全性。多中心试验将在美国约10家专门治疗脑癌的医院进行。基因疗法（IL-12受控表达系统）旨在诱导和控制免疫系统主要调节因子人白细胞介素12（hIL-12）的产生。在rGBM的背景下，IL-12受控表达系统导致PD-1表达上调，这为该组合提供了令人信服的理由。

胶质母细胞瘤是一种最常见也是最具侵袭性的脑癌。初始症状并不明显，患者可能会头痛、人格改变、恶心等症状。恶化时的症状可能导致患者意识不清。
