Moderna确认与日本就实验性疫苗COVID-19疫苗供应进行会谈

Moderna近日表示,正在与日本政府商讨一项潜在的预先购买协议,日本政府将购买4000万或更多剂量的实验性COVID-19疫苗(mRNA-1273)。

Moderna近日表示,正在与日本政府商讨一项潜在的预先购买协议,日本政府将购买4000万或更多剂量的实验性COVID-19疫苗(mRNA-1273)。如果mRNA-1273获得监管部门批准,该疫苗将由Moderna提供,并由武田制药在日本分销,预计时间为2021年上半年。

实验性疫苗mRNA-1273是由美国国家过敏和传染病研究所(NIAID)和Moderna公司共同开发的。由Moderna公司制造的mRNA-1273被设计用来诱导中和抗体,中和抗体指向冠状病毒”刺突”蛋白的一部分,该病毒利用刺突蛋白结合并进入人体细胞。

日本已经与阿斯利康(AstraZeneca)和辉瑞(Pfizer)以及盐野吉(Shionogi)等公司签署了协议,以在2021年获得5.21亿剂五种不同的COVID-19疫苗。日本卫生大臣表示,日本计划将于明年6月投放COVID-19疫苗。

Moderna此前曾与美国达成15亿美元的交易,为其提供1亿剂mRNA-1273。最近,该公司结束了与欧盟的探索性谈判,欧盟将购买8000万剂mRNA-1273,并可以选择再购买8000万剂。

本月早些时候,Moderna展示了美国疾病控制与预防中心(CDC)免疫实践咨询委员会I期研究的中期数据,该研究表明mRNA-1273是安全的,可在55岁以上的人群中(包括老年受试者)产生免疫反应。
