袁老摔倒后器官衰竭去世，人生最后一次骨折需警惕！

对于老年人来说，即使是轻微的摔倒也可能是致命的危险。

2021年5月22日13时07分，“共和国勋章”获得者、中国工程院院士袁隆平，因多器官功能衰竭在长沙逝世，享年91岁。
消息之突然，一时间令许多人难以接受：身子骨一向硬朗的袁隆平院士，为什么会突然住院、病重过世？

悲痛之余，「摔倒」这件看似普普通通的小事，再次成为大众关注的焦点。而在我国，跌倒是65岁以上老年人伤害死亡的首位原因。
在我国65岁以上老人中，平均每10人就有3~4人发生过跌倒。
摔倒最大的影响是引发骨折，主要部位为髋关节、脊椎骨、手腕部等处。
其中髋关节骨折最为严重，也被称为“人生最后一次骨折”，其死亡率高达20%~30%，且致残率高，42%患者不能恢复伤前活动力，35%不能独立行走。
人生最后一次骨折，它又被称为“老年人的临终骨折”，那它到底是什么呢？
