Stroke:辣椒素对脑灌注影响和安全性分析

蝶腭神经节(SPG)电刺激已用于急性缺血性卒中治疗,以增强侧支血流量。辣椒素是化学刺激蝶腭神经节的替代方法。

近日,血管疾病领域权威杂志Stroke上发表了一篇研究文章,这项研究旨在明确增加辣椒素剂量对连续性经颅多普勒测量的脑血流的安全性和效应。

研究人员对30名健康志愿者(分为5组)进行了经颅多普勒检查。辣椒素的剂量范围从33至165μMol。研究人员在长达20分钟内每隔5分钟记录了大脑中动脉收缩和舒张末速度峰值、动脉压和感觉到的刺痛。然后,研究人员计算出脑血流平均速度、搏动指数和脑血流指数。

参与者的中位年龄为21岁(四分位范围为5岁);所有人报告在饮食中都摄入了辣椒素。在研究之后和研究期间,没有人报告出现副作用。感知到的刺激性在5分钟后达到峰值,到20分钟时,没有人感觉到任何刺激。所有测试剂量均获得相同的结果,包括大脑中动脉平均速度的增加和搏动指数的减小。效应在5分钟和10分钟之间达到峰值,然后恢复到基础水平,但66 μMol剂量除外,这一剂量产生了持续性效果。研究人员发现辣刺激与剂量之间没有相关性,但大脑中动脉平均速度与辣椒素所用剂量密切相关。
