礼来公司已经开始在其AbCellera合作抗体的1期试验中给COVID-19患者配药。该试验的启动，比原定计划提前进行，标志着SARS-CoV-2反应的新阶段的开始，研究对象将接受专为该病毒设计的药物。

LY-CoV555是一款有效中和IgG1的单克隆抗体，直接抑制SARS-CoV-2病毒的棘突蛋白。该抗体的设计原理为阻断病毒附着、进入人体细胞，从而中和该病毒、具有潜在的预防和治疗COVID-19的效果。

Lilly

重组全人源单克隆中和抗体，是我们人体用来对抗病毒感染的分子的合成版本，不同于疫苗通过诱导产生，抗体药物疗法通过直接注射中和抗体，特异性结合病毒表面刺突蛋白，阻断病毒与细胞表面受体结合；

3月中旬，礼来公司通过与AbCellera公司合作，加入了研发抗病毒新药的行列。当时，AbCellera和礼来公司给自己设定的目标是在四个月内将抗SARS-CoV-2抗体投入临床。不到3个月后，礼来公司披露了AbCellera合作的LY-CoV555的试验已经启动，比原计划提前，比其他研发团队更早。

在未来数月中，礼来将针对这一首个抗体以及其他针对SARS-CoV-2的中和抗体一起进行试验。礼来将同步对单个治疗性抗体以及多个治疗性抗体组合（鸡尾酒疗法）一起开展试验。（同期进行的还有君实生物合作研发及商业化的SARS-COV-2中和抗体药物，产品代号：JS016）

同如火如荼开展的各疫苗研发项目一样，新冠抗体药物的速度也是前所未有的。基于应用AbCellera公司的DARPA疾病大流行预防平台（P3），在收集到美国首位COVID-19治愈患者的血样一周内便识别出超过500个独特的全人源抗体序列、不到3个月便开发出重组抗体并进入一期临床试验；

安全性和耐受性数据的交付可能标志着多线研发计划的开始。礼来公司计划在非住院的COVID-19患者中测试其抗体，并在传统上从疫苗中获得有限免疫力的人群（如老年人）中作为预防剂。为了支持广泛的计划和潜在的商业供应，礼来公司正准备在今年年底前生产 "几十万剂"。

LY-CoV555或许是第一个专门针对SARS-CoV-2的药物在人类中测试的药物，但它很可能很快就会有一帮其他资产加入。Regeneron预计将于本月开始在人类中测试其COVID-19抗体组合物，而阿斯利康和葛兰素史克和Vir Biotechnology之间的联盟正在开发的药物可能会在夏季结束前进入临床。

这种抗体可能会在第一批疫苗上市之前，考虑到制作和注射数十亿种预防剂的时间框架，以及它们可能无法在所有人群中诱导出免疫力的可能性，即使CanSino Biologics、Moderna和牛津大学正在进行的试验成功，这种抗体可能会继续在COVID-19的反应中发挥关键作用。

在1期试验启动的消息传出后，市值1460亿美元的礼来公司股价在盘前交易中上涨2.5%。AbCellera是一家私有交易的公司，最近完成了1.05亿美元的B轮融资。
