Nature:六国大规模抗传染政策对COVID-19大流行的影响

研究人员汇编了在中国、韩国、意大利、伊朗、法国和美国(美国)等国部署的1717个地方、区域和国家非药物干预措施的新数据。

世界各国政府正在以前所未有的政策应对新型冠状病毒(COVID-19)的流行,旨在减缓感染的增长速度。许多行动,如关闭学校和限制人口回家,给社会带来了巨大而明显的成本,但其效益无法直接观察,目前只能通过基于过程的模拟来了解。

在这里,研究人员汇编了在中国、韩国、意大利、伊朗、法国和美国(美国)等国部署的1717个地方、区域和国家非药物干预措施的新数据。然后,研究人员应用通常用于衡量政策对经济增长的影响的还原形式计量经济学方法,实证评估这些抗传染政策对感染增长率的影响。

在没有政策行动的情况下,研究人员估计COVID-19的早期感染表现出大约每天38%的指数增长率。

研究人员发现,反传染政策显著地、大幅度地减缓了这种增长。一些政策对不同的人群有不同的影响,但研究人员获得一致的证据表明,现在部署的政策正在取得大量的、有益的、可衡量的健康成果。

研究人员估计,在这六个国家中,干预措施预防或推迟了大约6200万例确诊病例,相当于避免了大约5.3亿例感染。这些研究结果可帮助了解是否或何时应部署、加强或取消这些政策,并可支持报告有COVID-19的其他180多个国家的决策。
