CELL:孕妇的新陈代谢可预测妊娠年龄和分娩时间

研究人员建立了一个代谢时钟,其中有5种代谢物能将妊娠年龄的时间与超声高度一致化(R=0.92)。此外,两到三种代谢物可以识别分娩发生的时间(2周、4周和8周内分娩的时间,AUROC≥0.85)。

怀孕期间的代谢是一个动态的、精确编程的过程,其失败会给母亲和胎儿带来毁灭性的后果。

为了确定健康妊娠期间代谢物的高分辨率时间曲线,研究人员分析了30名孕妇每周784份血液样本的非目标代谢组,揭示了其广泛的变化和高度调控的特征。

在怀孕期间,4,995个代谢特征(共9,651个)、460个注释化合物(共687个)和34个人类代谢途径(共48个)发生了显著变化。

利用线性模型,研究人员建立了一个代谢时钟,其中有5种代谢物能将妊娠年龄的时间与超声高度一致化(R=0.92)。此外,两到三种代谢物可以识别分娩发生的时间(2周、4周和8周内分娩的时间,AUROC≥0.85)。

该研究揭示了人类妊娠代谢组每周的特征,为理解妊娠提供了一个高分辨率的景观,具有潜在的临床效用。
