“遥控”血糖?

2型糖尿病(T2D)也叫成人发病型糖尿病,多在35~40岁之后发病,占糖尿病患者总数的90%以上。患者一般需要定期注射或服用药物以控制血糖。不过,最近《Cell Metabolism》发布的一篇文章表明,T2D患者有望迎来一种安全、无创且更便捷的血糖控制方法。

来自爱荷华大学的研究人员在小鼠实验中发现,每天将糖尿病小鼠暴露于静电场和静磁场几个小时,就可以改变其肝脏中氧化剂和抗氧化剂的平衡,从而改善小鼠对胰岛素的反应。这种效应是由小的活性分子介导的,这些分子似乎起到了“磁触角”的作用。

该研究的主要作者之一、爱荷华大学医学遗传学和基因组学系的Calvin Carter博士说:“这篇文献指出了一种量子生物学现象,静态电磁场(EMF)可以与特定分子相互作用。我们体内的某些分子就像是微小的电磁天线,可以对电磁场产生生物反应。在较短的时间内暴露于EMF可以降低血糖并使人体对胰岛素的反应正常化。”

事实上,异常的氧化还原信号传导是包括T2D在内的许多慢性代谢性疾病的病理生理的基础,超氧化物(ROS)一直以来被认为在2型糖尿病的发病机理中起着某种作用。而以往尝试从新平衡系统性氧化还原稳态的方法仅取得了有限的成功。

在一次偶然的机会中,研究人员发现,那些经过基因改造后患有糖尿病的小鼠在暴露于EMF后血糖水平却达到了正常水平。如果这一现象得到证实,可能会对糖尿病护理产生重大影响。

于是,研究人员使用了三种T2D小鼠模型探讨静磁场和静电场联合应用对血糖的影响。他们将血糖正常的小鼠和三种T2D小鼠在睡眠时间内暴露于静磁场和静电场的组合中,此类磁场的能量约为地球的100倍,在治疗三天内就逆转了小鼠的胰岛素抵抗。

静磁场和静电场的暴露可增强小鼠胰岛素敏感性

在进一步实验中,研究人员发现,静磁场和静电场会改变肝脏的氧化还原环境,尤其是改变肝脏中ROS分子的信号传导,从而增强对胰岛素的敏感性,并且肝脏是静磁场和静电场驱动的全身性氧化还原环境变化的来源。

Carter 说:“当我们从肝脏中去除ROS分子,电磁场对血糖和胰岛素反应的改善作用就消失了。这一证据说明,ROS在该过程中起着重要作用。”

肝超氧化物介导sBE暴露的胰岛素增敏作用

除小鼠研究外,研究人员还用EMFs处理了人肝细胞六小时,结果表明,胰岛素敏感性的替代标志物显着改善,说明EMFs也可能对人产生相同的抗糖尿病作用。

在安全性方面,世界卫生组织认为低能耗的电磁场对人类健康是安全的。研究人员在实验中也发现这种方法不会产生显着的不良反应。将小鼠连续30天暴露于磁场下并没有观察到异常的组织病理学反应,小鼠血压也没有变化,心脏功能也正常。

据悉,目前研究人员正在测试EMF是否在具有与人类更相似的大小和生理学的动物中产生相似的作用,并计划对EMF效应背后的氧化还原机制进行探索。

当然,电磁场具体会在人类患者中产生什么影响,有什么副作用,还需要更多研究进行证实。小编建议,大家有啥问题还是要谨遵医嘱哦~
