研究人员利用OVA建立AR小鼠模型,并使用白藜芦醇或N-乙酰半胱氨酸(NAC)进行鼻内给药。苏木精和伊红(HE)染色用于评估嗜酸性粒细胞。使用免疫组织化学(IHC)染色和实时PCR来评价小鼠鼻粘膜中TXNIP的免疫标记和mRNA表达等。研究结果表明,与未处理的AR小鼠相比,白藜芦醇或NAC处理的小鼠打喷嚏、鼻腔摩擦、炎症细胞因子、嗜酸性粒细胞数量、TXNIP、MDA和SOD水平有显著的变化。在培养的脾脏单核细胞中,TXNIP、MDA、SOD、ROS和炎性细胞因子水平能够被OVA诱导改变,但白藜芦醇或NAC能够逆转上述改变。

最后,研究人员指出,白藜芦醇可以通过抑制TXNIP-氧化应激途径有效减轻小鼠AR。
