BMJ子刊:男子每天4罐能量饮料导致心力衰竭

大量饮用能量饮料可能与心力衰竭有关

能量饮料的消费在全球范围内不断增长,但人们对过量饮用这类饮品对血管系统的影响仍知之甚少。一些研究人员已经开始关注它的潜在的负面影响,包括心血管功能障碍和心力衰竭。近日,发表在《BMJ Case Reports》杂志上的研究称,大量饮用能量饮料可能与心力衰竭有关。一名21岁的年轻人在2年左右的时间里,每天喝4罐能量饮料。导致他经历了4个月的劳累气短、躺下时呼吸困难和体重下降,最终被送入重症监护室。

研究人员介绍到他平均每天喝4罐500毫升的能量饮料,每罐饮料均含有160毫克的咖啡因、牛磺酸(一种蛋白质)和其他成分。这名患者过去曾有过消化不良、震颤和心悸的症状,但他没有因此就医。在入院前的3个月,他曾因身体不适、昏昏欲睡而被迫中断大学学业。

在经过血液检查、心电图等检查之后,发现他还患有心脏、肾脏衰竭,严重到可以考虑双器官移植。

他的心脏疾病在药物治疗和戒掉能量饮料后,得到了改善。然而,很难预测复发的可能性。

虽然这只是一个病例报告,但也有其他几个病例重申了能量饮料的潜在危害。研究人员认为:“导致这种病发的原因可能是咖啡因对交感神经系统的过度刺激、也可能是能量饮料会引发升高血压、心律异常风险。对于那些喜欢大量饮用能量饮料的人,尤其幼儿和年轻人,要提出潜在心血管风险的明确警告”。
