Inotrem是一家专门从事慢性炎症综合征免疫治疗的生物技术公司，近日宣布美国FDA已授予Nangibotide快速通道资格，用于治疗感染性休克。Nangibotide是一种TREM-1抑制剂肽，能够恢复适当的炎症反应，并改善血管功能和脓毒症后的存活。

感染性休克是败血症的最终并发症。在发达国家，脓毒性休克的发病率持续上升，死亡率持续升高。除抗生素和对症治疗外，目前尚无批准用于该适应症的特定疗法。Inotrem的治疗方案有可能成为第一种基于病理机制的脓毒性休克治疗方法。快速通道是FDA授予的一项指定，旨在促进和加快新药的开发和审查，以解决在严重危及生命的疾病。
