PNAS:肿瘤发生过程中的肠道宿主-微生物平衡调控

最近,研究人员利用果蝇肠道肿瘤模型研究了肿瘤发生对微生物群的影响。

研究人员发现,在BMP信号转导的损失后,肿瘤导致JNK/Mmp2信号转导的异常激活,其次是肠道屏障功能障碍和共生体失衡。

反过来,失调的微生物群引发再生反应,刺激肿瘤生长。

研究人员还发现,抑制JNK信号转导或耗竭微生物群,可恢复肠道上皮细胞的屏障功能,导致宿主-微生物平衡的重建,延长机体寿命。

该实验发现,在肠道肿瘤和微生物群之间存在一个JNK依赖性的反馈放大循环。研究人员还强调了控制JNK信号转导的活性水平对维持上皮屏障功能和宿主-微生物平衡的重要性。
