研究人员使用DEG表达和GSE19187临床数据库进行了加权基因共表达分析(WGCNA)。当与AR相关的模块筛选过后,研究人员将模块中的基因用于基因本体和KEGG途径富集分析,而在KEGG途径富集的基因认为是相关途径基因。AR患者中的DEGs随后从GSE19187筛选出来,其中的敏感基因在与过敏原挑战有关的GSE19187数据库中进行鉴定。研究人员将2类基因与途径基因进行了比较从而来筛选AR易感基因。特征曲线(ROC)用于评估易感基因在区分AR状态中的能力。基于GSE19187数据库中的WGCNA,研究人员共鉴定10个共表达网络模块。相关性分析阐释了黄色模块与AR疾病状态呈现正相关关系。在黄色模块富集的途径中,研究人员总共鉴定了89个基因。其中4个基因(CST1、SH2D1B、DPP4和SLC5A5)在AR中表达上调并对过敏原挑战敏感,且在ROC曲线中得到了进一步的验证。

最后,研究人员指出,CST1、SH2D1B、DPP4和SLC5A5是AR的易感性基因。
