Aging Cell:再添新证据!我国学者发现二甲双胍延长寿命新机制

尽管二甲双胍在促进健康衰老方面具有众多益处,但二甲双胍的实际作用方式在很大程度上是未知的,人类对二甲双胍诱导的寿命延长的认识仍然存在许多空白。

二甲双胍是一种广泛用于治疗2型糖尿病的一线药物,已在动物模型中被证明可以延长寿命并延缓与年龄有关的疾病的发作。

尽管二甲双胍在促进健康衰老方面具有众多益处,但二甲双胍的实际作用方式在很大程度上是未知的,人类对二甲双胍诱导的寿命延长的认识仍然存在许多空白。

近期,遵义医科大学的研究人员在 Aging Cell 杂志发表了题为:Metformin induces S-adenosylmethionine restriction to extend the Caenorhabditis elegans healthspan through H3K4me3 modifiers 的研究论文。
