最近,研究人员调查了利用气流传导和骨传导听觉脑干响应来在小鼠中操作了一个相似的区分。研究描述了一个听觉上和通过整个头部震动的技术。研究人员通过引入在正常听力小鼠的中耳损伤,探究了这个技术对传导性听觉损失的敏感度。另外,研究人员同样利用这项技术在一个常用的老年性耳聋小鼠模型中,即BALB/c小鼠,调查了年龄相关传导性听力损失的表现。研究结果描述了ABR测量手段对骨传导的刺激,表明了骨传导反应几乎不受传导性损伤的影响,指出了气流传导和骨传导反应暗示了传导性的老年性耳聋以及目前的骨传导技术具有有限的动态范围。
