研究人员对来自一个地点的87没那个工业工人的匿名听力敏度图进行了分析,分析的方法是健康和安全部门(HSE)的标准和法医鉴定标准。研究发现,两种方法的比较表明了大约1/3的工人在研究评估中具有噪音诱导的听力损失,并且是通过HSE标准来评估的。这些参与者的大多数年龄都在40岁以上。

最后,研究人员指出,噪音诱导听力损失的HSE标准需要重新进行审视,并且应该与法医鉴定标准进行组合从而消除两种评估系统之间的不相符之处。
