中科院:我国学者发现可快速处理抗生素残留污染的新技术

近期,中科院合肥物质科学研究院黄青研究员课题组与企业合作研究发现,使用低温等离子体技术,可高效快速地降解医疗废水中的诺氟沙星、土霉素、四环素等抗生素残留。国际环境领域学术期刊《光化层》日前发表了该成果。

医院、制药工业以及养殖业排放的废水,往往包含不少的抗生素残留。这些废水如不经处理直接排放会严重影响生态平衡,威胁人体健康。等离子体被认为是固体、液体、气体之外物质存在的“第四态”,近年来在工业、农业、生物医学等多个领域显示出广阔的应用前景。

黄青研究员与企业合作,提出了利用“等离子体生物技术”处理废水并降解抗生素的方案。近期,他们以抗菌药品诺氟沙星为例进行了深入研究,发现利用等离子体产生的臭氧可以对诺氟沙星产生脱氟反应,导致诺氟沙星中的羧基团和喹诺酮基团断裂。实验表明可以实现对诺氟沙星的高效快速降解,同时该技术对降解土霉素、四环素、金霉素、强力霉素等抗生素均有效果。

据介绍,这种处理技术简便易行、成本较低且不会产生二次污染,目前已成功应用于40多个污水处理案例,对开发实用型医疗、养殖废水处理新技术具有重要意义。
