Harbor BioMed近日宣布，美国FDA批准了新一代抗CTLA-4抗体HBM4003治疗晚期实体瘤的研究性新药申请（IND），以开始进行临床研究。

Harbor BioMed近日宣布，美国FDA批准了新一代抗CTLA-4抗体HBM4003治疗晚期实体瘤的研究性新药申请（IND），以开始进行临床研究。Harbor BioMed创始人、董事长兼首席执行官Wang Jingsong博士说：“获得IND批准是全球开发计划的重要一步。在临床前研究中，基于不同的作用机制和良好的安全性，HBM4003表现出了强大的抗肿瘤活性”。

在体外实验中，HBM4003显示出增强的抗体依赖性细胞杀伤活性（ADCC），并且对肿瘤组织中的高表达CTLA-4的Treg细胞极为特异。HBM4003具有强大的抗肿瘤功效和持久的药效作用。这种新颖的作用机制有可能提高抗肿瘤疗效，同时显著降低药物毒性。

CTLA-4是一种受体蛋白，其作为免疫检查点起作用并下调免疫应答。CTLA4在调节性T细胞（Treg）中组成型表达，当与抗原呈递细胞表面上的CD80或CD86结合时，CTLA4起到“关闭”开关的作用。
